This is a small story I started about The Sin Squad angel, Joshua and how he came to be. I haven't continued with it but here is the piece of literature so far:
Summarily I decided to look at the myopic figure whom overtly revealed himself in the luminous moring sunlight. "What is that?" I said to myself. It was a warm spring day in the year 1270, a year full of talisman and whimsical charm. Through my mind the image of a gigantic cathedral creeping toward me from the distance; a temple so full of love and worship for the Lord, but the darkness came celerity. Around me I could hear the croon of Dies Irae praising the momentary stars for their light would soon dim. My feet seemed to barely brush the ground as I wandered closer to the place of worship. The meadow I was roaming through was absorbed by a thick misty fog I could only describe as enticing. Throughout the choir, Latin hymns chanted out with a passion indescribable to man. The vibrations trailed in staggering waves throughout the land as if to move every person in contact with it. As my foot sunk into the damp earthy soil near the cathedral, the scene became eerily dark; the bright figure who had lead me here could no longer be seen. When the warm stroke of a hand was felt caressing the back of my shoulder I was abruptly shocked back into reality. Quickly I turned around and saw something that seemed to be brighter than a thousand suns. I Immediately noticed that it was a human-like figure, but with alluring wings of fire. The light started to dim down to where the face of the startling figure was recognizable. It looked like a seraphim, but of course I wasn't too sure about that assumption. Perhaps he was just a regular angel sent here to watch over the Earth. Whatever he was, he was absolutely stunningly beautiful. Terrible fright and fearfulness possessed my body when I saw his winsome face. I've never encountered anything this unusual in my entire life. The radiant figure had fair pale skin and silky blond hair along with a luxurious gem-encrusted crown of gold. He was wearing a tri-colored garment robe colored peach, baby blue, and cadet grey. His eyes shimmered like the sapphires only earth could hold. The angelic being glanced at me with avid desire and enthusiasm, and at that very moment I just sensed that I was in for an extraordinary experience.
